You may fall more in love with your lock screen like I did. Personally, I did not prefer seeing myself on the lock screen. May be because I am allergic to mirrors and self-reflections. I therefore set my girlfriend's live photo.

Apparently, it brightened the looks of my iPhone 6s lock screen. Something I did not expect. I am hereby sharing the same process with you in this article. This setting is applicable both in the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.

Steps to set up and use the live photos on your iPhone 6S and 6S plus background.

Step 1: On your home screen click on the settings application. Once you are there, you would own to wallpapers

Step 2: Tap the wallpaper option.

Step 3: Afterwards, you would see the 'choose a new wallpaper" option.

Step 4: On the next window, there are 3 types of wallpapers at your disposal. They are the Stills, Live and Dynamic. They are all different when you keenly look at them. We are only interested in the live wallpapers as at now. Tap the Live wallpaper option.

Step 5: You are almost there. Tap the preferable live wallpaper that you would like to appear on your home screen.

NB: The live wallpaper can only be set when you select the live photo option. Otherwise it will not appear as an option if you go for either Perspective or still.

Step 6: Tap on set. On tapping set, a pop menu will slide from the bottom part of your iPhone. You may either make it the lock screen wallpaper or the Home screen wallpaper. On the other hand, you can select to have the same photo as the home screen wallpaper and lock screen. If you are not satisfied with the looks, you have an option of cancelling and choosing a different one.

Setting your live photos on the Home and Lock Screen wallpapers

Nobody is perfect. Again everybody's preference differs. It is very normal that you be unsatisfied with the available live photo options in your iPhone 6s or 6s plus. You can have your photo as the live wallpaper. Here are the steps to make it practical.

First and fore most you would need to have a live photo of yourself. This you have to use your iPhone 6s or 6s plus camera to take.

First step: From the home screen, tap the photos app. It would open all your albums.

Second step: Choose the album which your photo is. That should probably be the selfie album or all photos would do.

Third step: Chose the desired live photo by tapping it. Afterwards, tap on the share symbol on your iPhone 6s or 6s plus.

Fourth step: You will notice two options appearing in slides right at the bottom of the screen of your iPhone, scroll towards the right. You will notice the "use as wallpaper" option. That is our primary option.

Fifth step: Amongst the three option that appear, choose the "live photo" option. Optionally, you can move to scale or leave it how you like it.

Sixth step: You are almost done. Three options will again show up. Preferably, choose either the "both", "set lock screen" or set home screen".

Seventh step: Tap the set bar.
